We were keen to remain true to the philosophy that guidedarchitect Ronald Fream when he designed and conceived Golf de l'Isle Adam, according to which "a good course should enable every player to set a goal that he or she can achieve, and should appeal to beginners and top players alike".
As soon as it opened, the course quickly gained a fine reputation for its openness and the wide variety of designs and settings on its holes, which are partly laid out in woodland and partly on a beautiful plateau: a magnificent synthesis of British and American trends.
