SPECIAL EVENT REGULATIONS

 

LAND

The event will take place on the Golf de l'Isle Adam course.

 

GAME FORM

36-hole gross stroke-play single, 18 holes per day, ranking based on the sum of the gross scores from the 2 rounds.

Reconnaissance (by reservation) on Monday, April 18, 2022. Course closed at 3:00 pm

 

SPORT SERIES AND CATEGORIES

Gentlemen's series: Index below 15.4

Ladies' series: Index below 18.4

 

OPEN TO

The player must meet all of the following criteria:

• be a member of the Fédération Française de Golf and have paid the 35€ "droit de jeu fédéral" or be a member of a recognized foreign federation 
• be 50 or over on the day before the event 
• be up to date with its entry fees for all Seniors Trophies/Grand Prix events 
• meet all sports registration criteria 
• meet the requirements of the Amateur Status Rules
• hold a medical certificate stating that they are not contraindicated in the practice of golf in competition or, if the player provided a certificate in 2020 or 2021, attest to having answered negatively to all questions on the health questionnaire available on the licensee area. The license and medical certificate or health questionnaire must be registered with ffgolf before the start of the event, failing which the player's score will be blocked on RMS. For players not licensed in France, the medical certificate must be provided at the time of registration.

 

REGISTRATION

Registration opens on FRIDAY, MARCH 4, 2022 (directly at www.golfisleadam.com).

The closing date for entries is 6 p.m. on TUESDAY APRIL 5, 2022.

The list of selected players will be published on the club's website on FRIDAY APRIL 8, 2022 at 11am.

 

Entry fees :

• for ffgolf members: 80 euros
• for club members: 40 euros

Any player who withdraws after the registration deadline (Tuesday, April 05, 2022 at 6 p.m.) is liable for the entry fee.

 

Player field :

The maximum number of players will be 120, including a minimum of 27 ladies (excluding WC) and a maximum of 12 Wild Cards.

Priority will be given to reserving 15 places in the Gentlemen's field and 5 places in the Ladies' field, which will be allocated in order of index on the closing date for entries.

Players will then be selected according to the order of the Mérite National Seniors, then the order of the indexes at the registration closing date, then the order of arrival of registrations, while respecting the minimum number of Ladies. If the field of players is incomplete at the closing date, the Club may complete it by adding Ladies and/or Gentlemen.

 

DEPARTURE TIMES

• Day 1 starts: 4 equal blocks (Block 1 best players to Block 4 worst players) Order of play: Block 2, then Block 1, Block 3 and finally Block 4.
• Day 2 starts: According to 1st round results, in descending order.

First round: first start at 7.45 a.m.

Second round: First start at 7.45 a.m.

 

START MARKS

Gentlemen: Marker III - Yellow Marks - 5,696 metres, Par 72 - SSS 69.9

Ladies: Marker V - Red Marks - 4,612 metres, Par 72 - SSS 68.9

 

TIE-BREAKING

In the event of a tie for 1st place at the end of the 2 rounds, a hole-by-hole play-off will be played on holes 1,2,17,18.

NB: If a play-off cannot be completed or played, the provisional ranking will become definitive, unless the event committee decides otherwise (e.g. to declare co-winners).

For the other places, the tie-breaker will be the 18, 9, 6, 3 and last hole (RMS ranking).

 

PRICE

The top 3 men in the gross ranking will be rewarded.

The first 2 ladies in the gross ranking will be rewarded.

 

AWARDS PRESENTATION

Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Club House 30 minutes after the end of the competition, followed by a cocktail reception.

 

USE OF ELECTRIC CARTS AND CARTS

The use of golf carts by players is not permitted, except with medical authorization recognized by the FFG (handigolf players). Players may use electric carts.

BEHAVIOR AND DRESS CODE

If a player (or his cadet) behaves improperly, or does not comply with the code of behavior of the permanent local rules for federal amateur events (rule 1-2), he will be informed that the event committee will decide on a possible penalty, up to and including disqualification. The Committee's decision is final for the event concerned. Players must comply with the Golf de l'Isle Adam dress code.

The event committee reserves the right to modify the present regulations during the course of the Trophy to take account of any particular event (bad weather, etc.).
