France is currently experiencing its fifth heat wave of the summer, and the Val d’Oise is subject to water restrictions under the prefectural order currently in effect. Like all golf courses in the department, we are subject to regular inspections and must strictly adhere to the watering guidelines imposed by the authorities.

In practical terms, this means that even though we have our own water sources, we are adjusting our irrigation to the current situation. Our yellowed fairways and less-than-green greens are therefore neither an accident nor a lapse on our part: they are the result of a responsible approach, appropriate to the heat wave we are currently experiencing.

During times of water shortages, water is a scarce resource—we are fully aware of this. This responsibility also aligns with our long-standing commitment to biodiversity, with the goal of earning the “Golf & Biodiversity” certification (FFG and the Federation of Nature Conservation Organizations).

We know that these yellowed fairways are a real nuisance for you, our golfers.
